NMIT International Officers Visit TRU Global Office to Explore More Academic Opportunities
On March 10, 2026, international representatives from New Zealand’s Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) visited the TRU Global Office for an effective and interactive meeting. The visit offered a great opportunity to strengthen international partnerships and explore new academic avenues for International Students.
We were honored to host Mr. Will Tregidga, Head of International Development, and Mr. Prashanth Nallur, Regional Manager. They delivered an insightful presentation on NMIT’s new academic offerings, student opportunities and international initiatives. The session highlighted two new programs commencing from 2026: The Master of Information Technology and Master of Professional Accounting.
The presentation was followed by a lively discussion with the TRU team, exploring global pathways and potential collaborations to benefit international students. The visit reinforced both institutions shared commitment to supporting students’ academic and professional aspirations through global exposure and quality education. TRU Global Office extends its sincere appreciation to NMIT delegations for their visit and valuable insights. We look forward to fostering a stronger partnership and creating more international opportunities at NMIT for Sri Lankan students in the future.
