TRU Global Education & Consultants recently had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Gurpreet Kohli, Regional Recruitment Manager – Subcontinent, UP Education – New Zealand, for an exclusive student consultation session held in August 2026.

Students had the opportunity to explore the different study pathways offered through UP Education, with particular focus on programmes available at Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS), New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC), and Yoobee College of Creative Innovation. The discussion covered a variety of study areas, giving students a closer look at the programmes available, their entry requirements and how each pathway could connect with their academic and career interests. It was also a chance for students to ask questions directly and gain a better understanding of what studying through these institutions could look like in New Zealand.

The visit was equally valuable from a partnership perspective. It provided TRU Global and UP Education with an opportunity to share perspectives, discuss the changing needs of international students and look at ways to strengthen the support available to Sri Lankan students considering New Zealand as their study destination.
